Boots for Siberia |
| Friday was a frantic day. I started with prayer and prayed at every turn. God knew it was my last day to do business before I left for Siberia on Sunday. He was right at my side impressing me with even the order of importance of the things on my list. He brought things to mind which I had not even thought of. He sent an urgent impression to go to my office and call United Airlines to double check on HIS luggage boxes for the children in Perm, Siberia. I had thirty two boxes lined up for travel. All contents were lovingly packed by a whole church full of people wanting to give to the children in Siberia. |
| At this strong impression, I turned back from my plans
to head across Portland to pick up family pictures. I had to take pictures
of my beloved family along yet this was more important for timing. I
arrived at the doctors office, and slipped in the back door to use my
office phone. The office was closed for my three week absence.

![]() God
had reserved those boots for him to have the joy of being a part of the
trip. The night before, I had looked at those very boots and almost bought
them but decided they were too much. I was hoping my own thin boots would
do. God knew I was going into a much colder climate than I had ever
experienced. It was 40 below zero where we were.
God also timed my visit to the office and he timed Mr. Fischer's. WOW! He did not want Mr. Fischer to be disappointed after all he had done for me. When God calls you to do a job for Him, He provides everything. He even impressed my sister to loan me her gray coat. My God shall supply all your needs. Phil. 4:19 |
