Plagues |
| This book of the Bible has special
strength for God's people in the end of time. God is able to take His
people out of bondage. We are all slaves to Satan till we give ourselves
completely, and daily to the King of the Universe. The plagues in this
book describe a part of God's character that is to be seen again very
soon. As soon as probation closes, another group of plagues are promised
in Revelation.
There is mercy seen in the order of plagues on Egypt. They were also warned ahead so they could repent and obey the light given. The world is being warned right now about the plagues soon to fall. You can avoid these plagues if you keep God's commandments. These Egyptian people could have avoided the disasters if they obeyed. This is shown by Moses being able to walk right out in the disaster and not be harmed. |
| God will raise up people like Moses who will faithfully obey all the light that God has shown them. God will be able to give them new light because God knows that new light will be treasured and followed. |

Last Minute Action |

Red Sea |
| When the people of Israel were
escaping, they were led up to the sea that had no bridge. God knew the
Egyptian army would come after them. He could have taken the people
through the Red sea immediately but He chose to wait till they were
desperate. They all were able to recognize they were powerless to save
themselves, then He opened the sea and took them across on dry land.
Those who chose to come after His people to destroy them, were destroyed by the tidal waves of the walls of water piling up. |

God never changes |
 God
wrote out the law with His own finger. It was so important that the
commandments be known exactly as God intended. This is the only time
recorded in the Bible that God wrote on rock. He had wanted to make a
point that this law never changes. It was to be kept in a very safe place
where the High Priest only went once a year. John the Revelator said he
saw the ark in heaven and said the original commandments were in that ark. |
 Those
who keep the law that describes the character of this powerful KING OF THE
UNIVERSE, will be showing they are loyal. |
