Revelation 21 & 22
Now that the wicked are gone, the Bible fills our hearts with the joys of heaven and promises to wipe away our tears and bring us healing.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 
21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 
21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. 

God does everything he can to fix up a special place for you. It is like the same efforts that a young lady does to make herself just as pretty as she can for the celebration of becoming a wife. She spends days preparing the flowers and dress, and fixing her hair and does all she can to look her very best. God is more excited than the young bride. He has waited a long time for this celebration. His heart is bursting with eagerness to have us home. He is tired of all the pain we experience at the hand of Satan. He makes things prettier than we can imagine. 

Rev.21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 
 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 
21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 
21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 
Not everyone will be safe to take to heaven. God will not put liars there. He will not take people there who love the Harry Potter books, and the Pokemon toys, and computer games. These are Satan worship tools. This is what "sorcery" means. The games help people practice killing and play with Satan worship symbols. They also take up time that needs to be spent reading and memorizing the Bible. They are an idol to so many people. Those who hate and those who kill will not be there. Those who are unfaithful to their marriage partners will not be there. Those who do other sins of adultery will not be there either. They would not be happy in heaven for these things are not done there. Those who do not believe in Jesus and have no faith will not be there.

 Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Again Jesus reassures us that there will never be anyone there to pick on us or make us miserable. Look at verse 27: 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Read the most brilliant description of the Holy City. The rest of Revelation chapter 21
21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 
21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 
21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 
21:12 And had a wall great and high, [and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 
21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 
21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 
21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 
21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits, [according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 
21:18 And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass. 
21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation [was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 
21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 
21:21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 
21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. 
21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 
21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 
21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 
21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 
22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations. 
22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 
Look closer at this tree of life. It is an amazing tree which grows on both sides of the river and joins in the middle. It has 12 different kinds of fruit and every month there is food on it. The leaves can also be eaten.

 "and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations. "
Here is the best part. We get to see Jesus. He is like the living water.

22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads. 
22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 
22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings [are] faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 
Rev. 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed [is] he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

1 Thes. 4:16, 17 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 
4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 

Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand; 
Our King is coming soon.
The One who gave the book of Revelation has always been alive. He is like the first and last letter of the alphabet. It is like saying He is the A and the Z of the English alphabet. He is the bright and morning star. He is the child of David and he has the keys to death. He invites all who are honest and thirsty to know God to come and drink of the Bible truths. Study and drink it all in.
Again the third time, a list is given of those who will miss out on heaven. They are dogs, people who play with Satan symbols and talk to Satan (sorcerers), and adultery , those who cheat on their spouse, and are unfaithful and those who do wicked sins with their own bodies (whoremongers). Also those who lie and enjoy lies and idol worshipers. God also will not put in heaven those who kill. Rev. 22:15
If any one adds to the book of Revelation God will add the plagues to them. It is a very serious thing to add in false stories. God wants the truth and nothing but the truth taught.

If people add to this book, God will take away his part out of the book of life, and of the holy city. ( Rev. 22:18-19)

I pray that all that I have done to help children understand Revelation never takes away any of the beautiful truths here. I pray that none of our pictures have misrepresented the great truths. We have prayerfully researched this book and spent hundreds of hours preparing the graphics to help make Revelation be understood by the child as young as 2 and as old as 20.
