Fire in the kitchen

While I was cutting up vegetables cooking lunch, my three sons were right beside me watching and telling me how hungry they were. I had just given them a little piece each to chew on while I worked and they had just stepped back a little. We were standing right in front of the dish washer that was working. Suddenly the dishwasher exploded. A hole developed right in the middle and hot metal spit out on my clothing. At the sound of the explosion, I instinctively moved my little ones back with a sweep of my arms. Their eyes were right at the level of the explosion.
I stayed between them and the fire that followed. I cried out to God for help. His 911 is the very best hot line there is! I grabbed the phone, called 911, rushed the children out into the cold and put them into the car. I had four so it took a few trips. The youngest was the baby who was on a heart monitor. The three boys were frightened at first but did not realize how serious things were. Then I ran to turn off the switch breaker which was in the basement, and shut off electricity to the dishwasher. I had all this done in 4 minutes. As soon as I turned around to count my children, I heard one of them back inside the home. Frantic, I grabbed him and pulled him back to the car just as the fire engines arrived. The house was filling with smoke. The fire was controlled quickly and big fans were set up to pull out the noxious fumes.
I asked my little boy why he went back into the home when I told him to stay in the car. His answer was he wanted to see what was happening to his bed and his toys. God heard my prayers  and no one was injured. The home had minimal damage. With an extensive scrub down and a replacement of the dishwasher and counter top, we were fine.
God hears our cries to Him for help. How I appreciate our powerful God. Five minutes is all the time it took for the fire engines to arrive and work. How I appreciate those firemen.

God gently leads mothers in their decisions and helps them in every crisis if they call to HIM for help.

Isaiah 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry [them] in his bosom, [and] shall gently lead those that are with young.
