You Are Precious You Are God's Treasure |
Flowers are a way that many people in the world express
their love. God expresses His love by making them. They bring cheer.
Rhododendron flowers are so very pretty. In our yard a twenty five year old plant makes a huge display every May. God is very generous. He does not consider it a waste of energy to make so many flowers on one bush. |
| Armloads
of wild flowers bloom in the spring. As we collect the blossoms, we think
of all God's promises. They are like the flowers. You have to collect them
and look at them a lot of times to really get the best from them.
God's word is full of promises. |
 A
real easy flower to grow is the iris. It has such a wonderful fragrance.
People dig up these and throw them away and they grow where they are
thrown. That is how we have them. Someone threw them onto our land. We
treasure them. They don't take a lot of work. They just love to grow and
bloom.
Every time I look at their flowers, I smile and think of God who makes them grow. |
 Dahlias
are such a pretty flower that dies down in the winter and in the spring it
comes back and makes so many pretty flowers. In the real cold parts of the
world, these flower roots have to be dug up and kept in a cool dry place
and replanted in the spring. |
  Orchids
are treasured by many as the very most expensive flower. It takes special
houses with much light and warmth to keep these alive in cold parts of the
world. In the tropics, these live outside. |
 The
Buchart Gardens in Victoria Canada has such an amazing history. An old
ugly hole in the ground left after gravel was taken out, was turned into a
garden. It took many loads of soil and years of hard work. Now, visitors
from all over the world love to visit this garden. |
 The
delicate fragrance of the roses is an amazing miracle. God has designed
these flowers to tell us He loves us. These could all be brown without any
smell at all. Yet God created the colors and perfumes to express how much
He treasures us. |
  They
shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my
jewels. Malachi 3:17

 God
promises that when we abide in Him and love to read His Bible and pray, we
will be like a watered garden. (Isaiah 58:11)
The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul during drought, and make your bones healthy, and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water that never fails. |
 God
promises to hold your right hand and keep you. (Isaiah 41:13, Is. 42:6) He
will lead the blind by a way that they do not know. (Isaiah 42:16)
Your life is precious in the sight of God. He has a work for you to do. It is not unfolded to you now, but just walk on trustingly. Jesus will not allow the enemy to overcome you. Angels are sent to give you the right words to say ad to keep you from sinning. (Psalms 91) Jesus will give you the victory. You are valuable to Him. You are like and expensive jewel. Jesus gave His life so that you could choose to be free from sin. |
 Some
would look at this flower and enjoy its beauty. Others would only see the
spider killing the bee. It is better to enjoy the beautiful flowers than
to get upset and just talk about the bad things that are happening all
around us. The Bible promises are like flowers. They are to be gathered
and enjoyed. God is our refuge and strength. Psalms 46:1. So memorize the
promises. Trust in God. Pick big handfuls of sweet smelling flowers and
rest in Jesus' loving arms. You are His jewel. |
 Did
you know that God sings about you? The Bible tells us that God sings about
us. He rejoices over you when you decide to join His family. You are very
special to Him. (Zephaniah 3:17)
