| Lessons and Remedies for rebellion show
God is merciful and patient. For example, the people of Israel complained
about the free food they received every day from God. It was a power
packed nutrition rich food they called manna.
He promised they could have some meat and sent in flying quail. The birds did not fly over His tabernacle. In fact he made the birds come up within a days journey from the camp. Grumblers stuffed themselves till they became so sick they died. They rendered their own punishment. |
| Pillar of Cloud: God faithfully camped
right there teaching these rebellious people so much like us today.
Isaiah 4:5 promises us another event of seeing this pillar during the troubles at the end of the world. God is a wall of fire about His people who love Him. He is very generous with his FRIENDS though they wound Him often, not even knowing it.
Numbers 14:11 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them? Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, |
